Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why can't I access my premium subscription after an update?
For some reason, the app doesn't recognize that you have an active subscription. But it's usually easy to resolve: Open the InsituArtRoom app, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, then select Premium subscription and restore your purchase.
This doesn't initiate a new payment.
2. How do I resize my uploaded artwork?
When uploading your image, you'll be prompted to specify the artwork's size in centimeters or inches, or choose “no size,” enabling manual adjustment by pinching the artwork with two fingers.
When specifying the size, only the width is required. The height adjusts automatically according to the aspect ratio.
To revisit these options, double-tap the artwork. You can also use this menu to rotate the artwork.
3. Can I resize my artwork in proportion to the wall?
Yes. When uploading your image, you'll be prompted to specify the artwork's size in centimeters or inches.
Only the width is required. The height adjusts automatically according to the aspect ratio.
To revisit these options, double-tap the artwork. For manual adjustments, choose “no size” and adjust the artwork with your fingers.
4. Why is my artwork the wrong size in proportion to the wall?
Keep in mind that if you resize the image using your fingers, the software won't accurately calculate its size in centimeters or inches.
5. Why do I need to allow access to my camera and photos?
Access is required to save your mockups to your phone's photo library.
If you did not accept the permission initially, you can enable it later in your iPhone or iPad settings under InsituArtRoom permissions.

7. What does “Restore Purchase” mean?
It helps maintain access to a subscription during phone upgrades, app reinstallation, or situations where the app doesn't immediately recognize the subscription.
No new transaction will be initiated. It only applies to existing subscriptions.
8. Why can't I access my premium subscription on all my devices?
The app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. However, a subscription purchased through an app store is associated with that platform and the account used for the purchase.
Premium access purchased through Apple can therefore be restored on compatible iOS devices using the same Apple ID.
9. How can I use my premium subscription with the InsituArtRoom Web app?
You can use the same InsituArtRoom account on both the mobile app and the web app.
Open Premium subscription in the mobile app, then tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner to view your account information.
If your account already has an email address, phone number, or Google account linked to it, use the same sign-in method on the web app.
If you are using InsituArtRoom anonymously, select Sign in with Google from this menu first. This links your current InsituArtRoom account to your Google account and allows you to use the same account and Premium access on the web.
Then open insituartroom.com and sign in with the same account.
10. Can I showcase the mockups on external websites and social media?
Certainly. Feel free to use the mockups on third-party websites, social media platforms, and your personal website.
Please ensure that the featured rooms contain your artwork exclusively.
Tagging or mentioning us is not obligatory, but we greatly appreciate it. Doing so also increases your chances of being featured on our Instagram account.

12. Why has my artwork description changed in the Marketplace?
When you publish an artwork in the InsituArtRoom Marketplace, we may enhance its description to help your artwork get discovered by more potential buyers.
Our goal is to help you sell your work as quickly as possible. A clear, detailed and search-friendly description can improve how your artwork is understood and discovered through search engines.
To create the enhanced description, we use the information you provide about your artwork, such as its technique, dimensions, materials, subject, style and other details.
The more information you provide, the better we can describe and promote your artwork.
Your original information is not lost. We simply use it to create a more complete description designed to give your artwork greater visibility online.

You can find some tutorials in our Instagram Reels, but most of our video tutorials are available on YouTube.
14. How do I stop my subscription from renewing?
